the Rescue Black Project
Youth Development Program
the Rescue Black Project partners with schools to provide students with community services hours. Students who complete at least 20 hours of required community service will receive a certificate of completion. Youth with leadership potential are identified and offered leadership roles and responsibilities within the organization that are compatible with their career interests to sharpen their skills and provide valuable work experience. Students ages 16-19 who successfully fulfill their roles receive a letter of recommendation from the Executive Director when they transition to college or paid employment opportunities.
