Our littles are rescued from abandonment and unwanted situations, and need a loving environment to grow and develop before finding their forever home.  This is a short-term but vital commitment to help young and shy cats and kittens transition from community life to family loving.

Shy cats need encouragement to trust, and time interacting with humans to enhance their adoptability. They also need a clean environment, grooming, and  exercise (play) to keep them healthy and happy.  Neat freaks and nurturers would do well in this supportive role.

Our littles have an active calendar and need chauffeuring to and from vet appointments, adoption meet ups and other events. This is ideal for road trip lovers with a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.  

 the Rescue Black Project operates solely off of  the donations of charitable givers.  Anyone who can generate ideas and spearhead fundraising for monetary and in-kind donations gets a gold star!
